Local Money

Nottingham Credit Union is a non profit-making community organisation providing community savings and loans services open to all.  The Credit Union exists for the benefit of people who want to save ethically in the local community, and people who want to borrow from an ethical organisation or are unable to obtain small loans from banks. Nottingham Credit Union covers the whole of the Nottingham area - more information at www.nottinghamcu.co.uk.  There is a local collection point at Sherwood Methodist Church, on the corner of Devon Drive and Mansfield Road, open on Wednesdays from 11am to 12 noon - at the collection point you can apply to join the credit union, and pay in money for savings or to repay loans. Ecoteams

Eco Teams are small neighbourhood groups who get together for a series of monthly meetings to help each other reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
